A Royal Table on the Quay
Three cuisines, one charcoal fire, and a family that has been cooking for guests for over twenty years.

From the Subcontinent to the Tonlé Sap
Indian Royal Halal Food began as a small family kitchen serving homesick travellers looking for a proper plate of biryani. Word travelled, tables filled, and our Riverside Branch opened on Preah Sisowath Quay — a few steps from the water, with the same recipes and the same clay oven fire.
Our chefs come from Punjab, Sindh and Dhaka. Together they cook the dishes they grew up with: dum biryani sealed with dough, curries built on slow-fried onion, kebabs pressed by hand onto skewers, and naan slapped against a searing tandoor wall.
Our Promise
Halal, Always
Every cut of meat is sourced from certified halal suppliers and handled in a dedicated kitchen. No compromise, no exceptions.
Spices Ground Daily
Whole spices are roasted and ground in-house each morning — the difference you taste in our biryani masala and karahi.
A Table for Everyone
Families, travellers and the riverside community share our long tables. Vegetarian, mild and family portions always available.
The Charcoal Tandoor
At the heart of the kitchen sits a clay tandoor kept at over 400°C. It gives our chicken its blistered edge, our kebabs their smoke, and our naan the puffed, charred blisters you can only get from a wall of live fire. Nothing from the grill is pre-cooked — every order goes onto the skewer when you sit down.
